A new approach to the vas deferens of the vasectomy procedure developed in 1974. This method was later introduced into USA in 1985.

The no scalpel vasectomy method is superior to the standard incisional technique because it eliminates the fear of surgical incision. It can be performed far more quickly and involves fewer complications than the standard incisional method.
